The 2019—20 season focuses on the oratorio repertoire. In addition to the performance of the probably most famous oratorio “Messiah”, Händels “Resurrezione” and Alessandro Stradella’s “San Giovanni Battista” will be heard. A. Vivaldi, J. S. Bach, J. D. Zelenka and D. Scarlatti complete the varied season.

Programme of the new Music Bridge Prague – Dresden has been announced

Hudebni-most 2014 © Xiaohui ShanAnother year of the Music Bridge  concert cycle will start by concert called "The Art of Counterpoint" on 31st January in Brevnov Monastery with repetition the day later in Dresden.

There will be presented inspiration from the counterpoint of Palestrina in the works of Bohemian composers like J. D. Zelenka, F. A. Tůma etc.

 

In 2014 you can look forward also to poetic stories of Italian chamber cantatas of the 17th century sung by Hana Blažíková, Stabat Mater by Domenico Scarlatti, Gloria and Dixit Dominus by Händel, works of Bach, Schütz, Caldara and so forth. We keep the favourite tradition of the New Year's as well as new advent concerts.
